Configure metadata

Metadata let you store custom data on a per work order basis. Metadata can be used for different purposes: to gather contextual information on a work order, to cross-validate analysis and to filter work orders on our monitoring platform.

Metadata configuration

Metadata are created manually via the Metadata tab in the Apps Center. Those created metadata will be displayed in the mobile application at the work order creation and can also be used as a template for creating work orders via the Deepomatic API.

Several informations need to be provided to create a metadata:

  • Name (required), name of the metadata that will be displayed to field workers.

  • Description, optional field to provide more information on the metadata.

  • Type, three types are available: text, number or boolean.

  • Example, one or several examples of what is expected as a metadata.

  • Required, to define whether the metadata must be sent by field workers when creating a work order.

Each created metadata will be listed in the tab with their corresponding information.
